ZUNEERA MASOOD, Esq.
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL ATTORNEY
Zuneera Masood is the Founder & Principal Attorney at Masood Law, and is licensed to practice law in North Dakota. Zuneera practices in a variety of areas such as Federal Regulatory Compliance, Consumer Protection, and Employment Law. Miss Masood also provides pre-litigation support, and provides General Counsel services to businesses looking to manage legal risks and obligations. Zuneera is also a Professor at Wilmington University where she teaches courses such as Cyber Law. Zuneera has a diverse spectrum of experiences that informs her work as a legal professional. Prior to establishing the Masood Law offices, Zuneera served as Deputy Attorney General in the Delaware Department of Justice serving in the Misdemeanor Trial Unit in the Criminal Division and completed her time in the Investor Protection Unit in the Fraud & Consumer Protection Division. Thereafter, Zuneera was In-House Counsel at a bank fintech company handling a variety of matters from regulatory issues, compliance, and managing all of the litigation. Zuneera earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Illinois College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. She also completed two certifications, one in International Human Rights and one in Trial Advocacy. Zuneera serves clients in English and Urdu. Her most important job is being mother to her beautiful daughters and enjoys growing her event decor and design company in her free time.

Mahira Q. Khan is an attorney licensed in Florida and Texas, primarily focusing on non-profit work. Mahira carries a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the area of Non-Profit Law that is unmatched. Mahira offers white-glove service that caters to the client’s needs, aligned with Masood Law’s values and commitment to our clients, and we trust our non-profit clients are in great hands with her. Mahira’s legal experience includes financial services, credit, and property litigation, in addition to immigration and family law.

OMEMA JANJUA
PARALEGAL | IP LAW TRAINEE
Omema is a globally-minded legal professional currently serving as a Paralegal at Masood Law. She holds an LLB from BPP University in the United Kingdom and is preparing to begin her LLM in Intellectual Property Law in the United States. Originally from Pakistan, with a background in both UK and Pakistani legal frameworks, Omema brings a unique international perspective to her work. Now based in the U.S., she is actively learning the American legal system and applying her skills to support the firm’s day-to-day operations and strategic growth. At Masood Law, Omema plays a vital role in both administrative and substantive legal work. She is also fluent in English and Urdu bringing cultural comfort and competence to our clientele. Omema is known for her attention to detail, curiosity, and initiative. Whether she’s breaking down a complex case or streamlining firm processes, she approaches every task with focus and drive. Outside of work, you’ll likely find her exploring Delaware’s best chai spots and bringing a blend of international warmth and fresh perspective to the local legal community.

AWADH KHAN
LAW CLERK
Awadh Khan is a law clerk in the firm’s litigation department with over seven years of litigation experience across constitutional, commercial, regulatory, and tax law. He earned his LL.M. in American Law from Boston University School of Law and his LL.B. from the University of London.
From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Khan served as a law clerk to Hon. Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, where he assisted Justice Ijaz on matters involving constitutional, commercial, and contract law. Prior to joining Masood Law, he was a litigation associate at the Karachi office of a leading law firm in Pakistan.
